Wazir Khullar
Chairman Emeritus & Treasurer
Wazir Khullar founded TCCC in 2007 with Mr. John Woods. Currently Wazir is the Chairman Emeritus and Treasurer of TCCC. Wazir’s passion for cricket dates back to 1960’s when he played the games on the streets of New Delhi and subsequently representing Indian Airlines. Wazir’s altruistic efforts to give back to the community has been commendable. In his own words “One of my life goals is to promote Cricket, Yoga and physical fitness for all age group in Ontario and establish Toronto City Cricket League as a well-known league of the world”. Wazir has been serving the Public Sector domain in the areas of Property Taxation, Assessment and Appeals.
Elvis Vincent
President
Elvis Vincent is the serving President of TCCC (since May 2015). Elvis is a passionate cricketer himself and a right hand medium fast bowler who aspired to play for India. However, life had other plans for Elvis. Now Elvis is an avid golfer. In his younger days, he was fortunate to rub shoulders with the likes of Azharuddin, Venkatapathy Raju etc. In his day job Elvis works for a leading software company (Broadcom-VMWare LLC.) and is the global lead for Consulting Services. He has a dual MBA’s from Cornell’s Johnson School of Business & Queens School of Business.
Anurag Deep
Director : Special Projects
Anurag Deep has been a member of the TCCC Board since November 2014. He is an ardent follower of cricket and has been actively pursuing it in Canada for the last ten years. He still thinks his best years as a cricketer are yet to come. In his day job Anurag works as a CFO of all Canadian divisions of a global financial institution specializing in the areas of investment banking, wealth management and asset management. He is a Chartered Accountant from India and Canada and has an MBA from McGill University. He is also a CFA charter holder.
Jatin Khullar
Director : Youth Programs
Jatin Khullar is a director with TCCC and holds the portfolio for youth programs. JT as he is popularly known is a cricket fanatic and likes to contribute towards the game. JT is a graduate from UFT and has been working in the real estate space assisting his clients with their commercial and residential acquisitions. JT’s hobbies include traveling and photography.
Tarun Basil
Director : Finance & Fund Raising
Tarun Basil is a Director with TCCC and holds the portfolio for fund raising & event management. A vivid admirer of the game, Tarun is a generous sponsor and supporter of the game of cricket. Tarun is a flourishing entrepreneur and is the CEO of TopLinQs.com and LinQTab.com. Great business acumen that executes strategy and drives long-term success for the organizations. Interacts with C-level Executives to the front liners in the most effective way through business simulations and experiential learnings. Tarun’s hobbies include traveling and photography.
Ushvinder Bhatia
Director : Partnerships and Communications
Ushi as he is popularly known in the friends and cricketing circles is the Managing Director of XCCELERATA a global venture capital accelerator which is driving health innovation working closely with a number of HealthCare ventures striving to modernize & digitize the Global healthcare system. He is a serial entrepreneur and an accomplished business leader. In the last 28 years, he has successfully launched and governed numerous businesses as well as led large scale initiatives for fortune 500 companies such as IBM, SAP and Nestle globally across North America, Europe, & Asia. As part of the ICD executive leadership committee, Ushi is highly motivated to build better boards that make better decisions for a better Canada.
Inder Mohan Singh
Director of Accounting
Inder Mohan Singh is CPA,CGA with the Certified General Accountants of Ontario, Canada. Inder works in the field of finance, accounting and taxation. He has held several prestigious roles in the space around the globe and won laurels. Inder supports the board in the day to day financing and accounting function. Inder is a swing bowler of repute.
Riaz Raihan
Director : Community & Liaison
Riaz Raihan is a leading software executive who holds an engineering and MBA degrees and is a graduate of the Stanford University. He is a member of MENSA International and the Forbes Technology Council, and he was ranked in the world’s Top 25 Software Product Executives in 2021 and 2022 by The Software Report. Riaz is the chief Digital officer at Trane Technoliogies a 18B$ fortune 500 company. Prior to this Riaz led Alida as a President of Total Experience Management, President & GM at CISCO’s IOT Business unit and SVP & COO at SAP. Riaz is an avid Cricketer all his life who has been playing serious cricket from his University days. Riaz has been generous with his time to help us liaise with the City of Mississauga and various Government entities in trying to secure additional cricket grounds for the league and being a brains behind key initiatives in this league
Rahul Shah
Director : Board Secretary
Rahul Shah is a Director at RBC looking after the commercial market space. An MBA from University of Toronto Rotman School of Management, Rahul spent his entire career with RBC. Rahul is an avid cricketer and a very fast bowler and a useful bat when needed. Rahul is joining the board this season to take over the reins from Dipesh Dar as the board secretary for a two year term.
